I have a doberman who is an obsessive licker. Even with no wounds he'll lick anything he can and if there is no body part of his own he'll lick you..if you are not around I've even seen him lick the air around him. He recently was bitten by a poisonous spider and due to the poison much of the bite area was removed. He has gone thru every type of wrap, casts, herbal sprays to not lick,e collars nothing works. Finally was given a stoplik by the vet. His wound is finally healing and his depression from using the ecollar which he still was able to get to his foot is finished. Without stoplik my dog would be suffering.
