Cougar Attack in Montana

Above: Inca from the Gold Coast, Australia. Photo courtesy of Amanda. Close encounters of the wild kind are not always so “tame.”

You probably already heard about the attack on the hunter near Kalispell, Montana. You can read more about the mountain lion attack in Montana here.

This is a topic I have ranted about before and actually have animal attack commentary up on the main website.

Hunting the cat’s natural prey could draw the creature to the hunter…just wondering what else was going on. In the scheme of things he was able to hike out and get help and was released quickly. Good thing he had a pistol.

I’ll have more once the investigation reveals something.
